Bio

Louis Valderrama is a Colombian photographer based in New York with over nine years of experience in the photography industry. Throughout his career, his work has been distinguished by a strong visual sensitivity, where each image functions as an intimate narrative shaped through color, texture, and emotion.

His style is defined by a fusion of analog aesthetics and editorial vision, creating photographs in which visual language and materiality tell stories on their own. Valderrama’s work explores the relationship between movement and atmosphere, producing images that feel both deeply human and artistically refined.

His international trajectory has positioned him as one of Colombia’s emerging photographers, leading him to work in countries such as Brazil, Peru, Argentina, and Italy. He has collaborated with renowned brands and designers including Audi, L’Occitane, Chanel, Silvia Tcherassi, Francesca Miranda, FENARETA, and Moda Operandi, among others.
Currently based in New York City, he continues to explore new visual techniques and expand his artistic language, integrating lighting and color as fundamental elements of his creative process. In his work, color, texture, movement, and sensitivity stand as the core pillars that define his photographic voice.
